If it were to carry around with warm food would it not keep food warm for a while just because it was insulated and be no need to plug it in.

Johnie is correct.  I think Coke and Pepsi stopped diversifying into other food products after their foray into gumball and peanut vendors and carousel horses did not work out as planned!   Good thing some of those rare items survived though.

         You guys are so right!

       I was deceived by the picture at first. Clearly now it is a regular Acton with the lid hinged to the side, probably so a vendor didn't have a lid in his face.

       I do agree it looks well made but I think it was done rather recently by the style connector used, and care done restoring it. If it were converted back in the 50's they would have butchered it, as these coolers were so plentiful.

       Can't imagine the length extension cord needed for a stadium.

You forgot their tragic foray into the furniture market with the Coke Standard, Master and Giant series of love-seats, sofas, & couches, and there lesser known "successes" like the Coca~Cola toilet seat.
