just a quick pic of a VMC Pepsi can vendor I had a chance to repair this weekend, it's a big one, about 7-1/2 feet tall, it used to vend bottles, but looks like it was factory retrofitted to vend pop-top cans (no can-piercing opener) it had a vending issue (imagine that!) were the vending/credit relay wouldn't latch, turned out to be an open wire on one of the section solenoid switches, which because they're all in series, disabled the vending buttons ( the machine thought it was in the middle of a vending cycle & couldn't "see" as if a can hadn't been delivered.) so after going through the bazillion or so micro-switches, it's back in action.. such as it is...
Oh and the cups in the one picture are being used to hold down the "sold-out" switches because you don't what it dropping a can on the floor every time you need to test the selection
buttons...
PS.. folks don't put these tall top heavy machines on casters (like this one) the thing is a major tipping hazard, jeez! ( oh no..what was that terrible noise!? & where's little Timmy Lassie!? woof-woof)
