I loaded it with some cans and it works in 3 of the 4 slots.....Then I see a problem with the last two cans in a slot coming out at the same time....I think I can fix that with a dummy can loaded last in each slot.....Maybe a piece of PVC pipe capped and filled with sand for weight....?

I think just a good hand sanding would work in the rollers....?  I'm going to take everything apart so it can be cleaned up. I'll sand alittle off each roller then.

What kind of grease should I use on the vending parts and what kind of oil goes in the motor and where.....?

I tired a piece of 3" PVC with a can inside it for weight and it worked like a charm....Now I will take it all apart and give it a good cleaning and sand the rollers down just alittle....yes I took lots of pics so I can put everything back like it goes. Orginal tag was still attached to the motor so the question about where to oil the motor is answered....I think I'll just use axle grease on the other moving parts.

I'll post lots of pics and a good How-To on my site when I get it finished.

Spray lithium grease works well for the stack and such. Less likley to attract dust.

Thank you for the advise...I'll pick up a can.  I got the vending stack all apart.

I pressured washed the main stack.

I decided to take about a tenth off the rollers....I hit one just a bit with a belt sander and there was still not enough clearance. They will end up about 1 1/2" in dia. Took me about 20 minutes on the first one but I really took my time. They will look good as new when I'm done.

I got most of the vending unit back together tonight and guess what....It vends cans like a charm. The cam that pushes and pulls the rollers back and forth wasn't as bad to get back right as I thought it would be. Right after I took it off I put it on some plywood and made a template of it....Just a piece of advice that I was smart enough not to learn the hard way....Put everything back together but the motor...Spin the sprocket by hand to make sure all the knuckles are in the right places and the rollers work as they should...This is also a good time to make sure it will drop the cans without any problems if U have set it up that way. I should get everything back together this weekend and put it to the real test, can it keep a case of beer cold all weekend long....LOL

Now that I think about it....I'm not sure the cam can be put in wrong....?  The stacks may vend in a different order but I don't think that would really mater.

Knuckle position only dictates the order the individual stacks vend...But the alignment of the two sprockets does make a difference.

What kind of oil do I need to put in the vend motor....? Tag calls for "Medium Grade Low Pourtest Oil" see pic below...

Here is the vend unit back together....

I think a standard number 20W motor oil will prove satisfactory!  tounge
