I bought this Glasco GBV-60 about a month and a half ago before I was able to get it home after my van got wrecked. I'm looking for the rack and gate assembly. I understand they are hard to come by and I would settle for a few pics and measurements and I might be able to fab one. Any help would be appreciated.
                                      Thanks, Ken

To find one or fab one will be very tough, what I would suggest is to look for a Ideal 85 rack and cut it down. I'm fairly sure that would work and a 85 rack will be far easier to find then a 60 rack.

Ken - Where are you located?  I assume nowhere close to me (I'm in the TX panhandle).  I have a rack for an 85.  It's in need of a sandblast and powdercoat/paint but it's complete with flapper.  I planned on using it but the tub it was in was too rusted. So, I just pulled out the salvageable parts (rack, flapper, coin mech, etc).  I don't come across many sliders in my area, but I planned on hanging on to it just in case something comes my way (or if Slider Bob can find me a shell).  But, if you need it let me know.

I can use it if you want to part with it. I live in NE Ohio so it would have to be shipped. Let me know want you need for it and shipping cost and we'll get it worked out.

The length of the rack can be cut down to any size and the spacers re-welded.

It's the width that cannot be modified so better measure before committing purchase.

Thanks MoonDawg.  Definitely don't want him to get it without making sure it will work.

Ken - I just took some quick measurements.  The width (front to back) of the rack is about 16 5/8".  The length (left to right) of the rack is about 35 1/2" not including a small 1/2" lip on the left side of the rack (see 1st picture).  Check your machine and see if this will work.

EDIT: Now that I look at the rack compared to your unit, I doubt it wil fit. Since yours is a 5 selection and the 85 is a 6 selection, I assume my rack would be too wide to fit your machine.

After looking at the picture, I think this could still work. The outside rails on the 85 are welded along the outside of the flapper housing, where as the 35 and 55 etc. have those rails butted into it. Removing 1 rail does not look like a big problem anymore.
Also when cutting the length of a rack, remember that maintaining the proper spacing is very critical before welding.
