hey guys,

this is my first post, i love the site, I'm a newbie collector (only have one st pepsi vendorlator 56).  I want to get into the cooler type chest machines and really like the look of the quikold standards and juniors.

Havn't had any luck locating one.  If anybody has one in unrestored condition they'd be willing to part with I'm all ears.  I'm in the new york area and willing to travel some to pick it up.

I'm into any brand except coke.

Thanks!

Thanks guys, looks like these are pretty hard to come by huh, guess I'll have to be patient....I've heard people mention that the shows are coming up, can anybody be more specific? I've obviously never gone to these, are they a good place to look for unfinished stuff or is it all showcase pieces?

thanks

Yes the quikolds you are looking for are going to be hard to find.. but with time and patience and a some cash ready to go... you'll find what your looking for ... it just takes time..

The shows people speak of are basically swap meets for coin op and related items... there are several around the country...

the next bigger one I believe is going to be Chicago Coin op.. it's two times a year.. next show is November and you just never know what you'll find.. lots of unrestored items the first day and then lots of showcase stuff too...

they have a website, just google chicago coin op show... for details...
