While on vacation with the family in Chincoteague VA, we stopped at a BBQ place called "Woody's".   They were serving bottled sodas out of a pair of old coolers - one was an embossed RC, the other a non-embossed 7-Up.   Tina called me  dork for being so excited about a couple of old cooler.   tounge

It is nice to run across the same things we collect and fix. Even nicer when it's in use.

I've always thought about picking up a RC cooler like that and using it as a stand for my TV in the mancave.

Seems Like BBQ Places love to use old stuff as props..

we have a very popular one up in our neck of the woods.. its' called Famous Daves.. not sure how far out they go.. but their decor is all old advertising, coolers, bait and tackle and gas oil stuff in all of their stores...

I got to tour the wharehouse once a few years back and lots of neat old stuff.. most pretty common and beat up but cool to see... most of the ones I've been in have an old coke cooler of some sort in it.. either an upright or chest.

Oh . great food too!
