VMC 81 Production Numbers

Hello All-

Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what the production numbers were for the VMC 81.  I think I read somewhere there was about one Pepsi VMC 81 made for every 200 Coca-Cola Vendo 81's.

I'd be curious to know productions numbers for all of the popular machines. is there book or source someone has?

I have never seen anything in writing, I think it would all be guesses. The Coke Vendo 81 being by far the most common of all the VMC 81's. Of the VMC's, it would be Pepsi, 7-up, then Royal Crown with both the Dr. Pepper and generic falling somewhere in the middle.

I think the VMC Orance Crush 81 serial number is at 000010 from what I've seen and read
