I came to the conclusion I would not find a compressor for my Westinghouse Master cooler without breaking the bank so I guess my question is now can I put a donor compressor unit in it? This build is for me so it does not have to be era correct and don't care too much about what's under the hood as long as it functions correctly. I am not too sure what all I would need for this kind of a conversion. What kind of unit I need to look for etc..I still have the actual circulation motor and what appear to be the chiller coils, the copper lines were cut about half way down the back of the unit so may be I can tie in to those original lines going up to the coil inside the tank.
Any help or advice would be great!  help
