"It's the same style you've seen Rick on American Restorations fix and sell for $9000.00."      Yes, but Rick turned his into a C-72 before he sold it. |

I just emailed him too as Rochester is not that far from me.This is my email to him.  I know that it's his machine and he can ask anything he wants for it.  Yet it was the line "PLEASE BE REAL" that made me laugh, and thus made me send an email too.
I might have sent an email anyways as saw this ad as well, but only to get it cheap and flip it, as its close enough for me to do so.

 here's my reply:

"Hello, Im interested in your Coke machine.
I noticed in your ad you said to "please be real" so I will be... I can offer you $ 600.00 for it, because in reality you have a 600.00 machine that needs to be restored.

So, if you want, 600.00, let me know.
 Thanks"

When I was reading the ad I thought the $3,000 is about right for a 39 from a seller who knows nothing about it. As I continued to read it went from bad to worse, the bad when he said leave a "working" phone number, ah, let me think......if I indeed had a interest would I think about leaving a "non" working number??? Then of coarse the worse with the $9,000 number. I will never understand if it's that easy why he won't "fix" it and sell it for that $9,000 he claims it would bring. |

Oh, I hit the link and got a $ 3000 listing for a original vendo 39.  Must be a different ad that now pops up.  Either way, they all fall under this category lol |

Why didn't i ever think of leaving a bogus call back number. Oh yeah. because most phones have a digital display that displays the number that called.
