So I was out in the garage tonight putting together a old water pump  ( blasted and powder coated) and my Eco Air meter  (blasted & powder coated) and after a hour I was a puddle  , man it is hot out there it is like walking in the oven . also drop off two item to my painter's today and that was fun again just ringing wet  .
Just waiting for this hot strike to end so I can get out there in the garage and work  smile.

Hey Pat,
Well you have power so you are good to go!! Warming up here a bit but nothing to worry about.
Cold fluids in massive amounts and all will be well. :-)

Can't recall the last time we had so many days in a row in triple digits.  My Jetta said 104* in downtown Baltimore this afternoon, and it was parked in the shade!

I'm taking my Cornelius sliders down into the basement to work on them where it is nice and cool.  Glad to hear our VA members are getting power back.  I would NOT want to be without AC right now.  I would be living at work in the Server Room.   Cool

Guys, remember last year? Here's what was reported by Texas VOX:

"On the last day of September in Austin, Texas, we may have put the 100 degree days behind us.  No guarantees, but unless we have a very late heat wave, yesterday’s 100+ degree day may have set the new record to break of 90 days* of 100+ degree days in 2011"

and, here in S.A. we had 53 days STRAIGHT...over 100'   veryangry

you still have a ways to go yet... buy a window unit at Sam's, and install it in the garage. Nothing like working in the a/c!  Cool
