Hi guys new here and I just bought a nesbitts orange Ideal 55 machine. I need to find out where I can get the front 12" and back 18" decals made? they look to be bottle caps with the wording "refreshing as a cup of coffee" around the cap. Also is there a website that would tell me the paint code for the orange, or am I better off just having it color matched at my paint store?

I don't know, and I'm not trying to be a wise guy, but.... Did you try funtronics? or one of the sponsor's? Good place to start!

You're best bet is to get a paint chip matched. As for the decals, they were probably added by a sales rep or store owner.
Closest I could find is similar to this. It may give you something for a sign shop to create vinyl decals.

The decals are were not part of the machine from the Ideal company, a salesman probably applied some in the field.

There are a couple of high dollar signs on ebay right now that are similar to what their decals looked like back in the 50s....

Nice looking machine...I like the Nesbitt's coolers! That decal you are asking about is in fact a Sun-Drop decal from the '40s or '50s. Nothing to do with Nesbitt's, but likely a second flavor carried by the distributor. Not sure where you can find one.

So the red black and yellow decal in my picture is not a nesbitts decal but a sun-drop decal?? Does anybody make nesbitts decals like the one in Eric's post? Is this the sun drop decal that you think is on my machine Greg.
Thanks, Mike

Nobody makes the decal anymore it was a water release style... I own one, bought it off ebay a few years ago... was going to redo it it but I have other projects and I am way behind... And yes the round Sun-Drop sign is very similar to what you had on there.
