Hello,
Does anyone have or know where I could get a door liner for a Cavalier CS-96C square top machine?

Thanks,
Derek

I am gonna give myself a bump, because my whole restoration is on hold for a door liner. Anyone have one that I could buy? Sodajerkworks told me they would need a good one to make a pattern for, so does anyone have a good one that they would volunteer to be used to make a pattern for?

Thanks,
I just can't believe I may have to junk my machine because of a door liner! I may have to part mine out or haul to the dump!

I'm in the same position as you with a Vendorlator 90, just need to find a door liner, mine is too beat up.  I'm considering having a sheetmetal shop fab up a sheet of textured aluminium which is what some of the Cavaliers used at a point in time.

Don't junk a machine just because of a door liner. A couple of chunks of foam core from Hobby Lobby/Michael's will work just fine until you can make/find something better.
All the door liner needs to do is hold the insulation in place.

I know I have seen a Cavalier with a stainless steel door liner, but I can't remember where. I am a pretty good fabricator but I can't imagine making a door liner that matches the plastic one for my particular machine. You would need a worldclass fabricator that has access to a planishing hammer, and a lot of other equipment. I guess I need to just wait and try to find one or try to fab something out.

I guess I dont' see the need to have an exact replica made of the original.. if you have the original, even broken, take it to a sheet metal shop and have them cut one out for you... at least you can put something in place and finish and enjoy your machine...

Goodl Luck!
