cardboard sign with frame - $1050
Fawn Cooler (embossed sides) - $1999

The machine is very overpriced in my opinion.  It looks like a Westinghouse Wet Box WE-6?  Not the most desirable, at that price save some money for a Vendo 81 or a Cavalier 72.

The Coke Cardboard should measure at 27X56.  I just bought a gold frame like that last weekend on ebay for $170.00.  The cardboard depending on the condition looks like middle 40s.  Edwards and Duetch did several of them during this time period.  I would want to see better pics of the Cardboard.  From what I can see its a 350.00 tops sign.

The Picnic Cooler looks like a CAVALIER.  I see them all the time for around 150.

Just my opinon on a few items other senior vets may chime in...

Yes that's a WE-6 doesn't look bad but 300 tops if the doors aren't rusted. Can't help on the rest.

Now that I have a minute, I can give more info on the whole day.
So finding anything coke (at a reasonable price or AT ALL) in an antique store is nearly impossible. So i go to this store an i notice he has a pretty good amount of old advertising and when i see his WE-6 i ask him what he wants for it. (just curious, I already have one.) So when he tells me $1200. I try not to be rude, and bring up how i don't think i could even sell mine for $400 to a collector. so he gets all uptight about me saying his prices are to high. it was an interesting day. bought nothing.

You will find a lot of nice local items but they are always overpriced.  For them they are just looking for that one buyer.

His prices are high. End of story. He's either ticked  you are an informed buyer, or he he's ticked  it is still sitting there because he paid to much and if it don't sell, it's taking up space.

Google is your friend. the Completed Listings option on Ebay is your friend.  There are so many ways today to  find current trends, current market value,  what's hot and not I don't care if the seller gets mad at me. I usually read the ad, and walk on

Yeah, saw this one dealer trying to sell a 28 oz. Nichol Kola bottle for $495 ! Definitely was looking for that "one buyer".  laugh

The store may have the cooler on consignment so he's asking a percentage above what the owner wants for it. I don't think the price is outrageous considering overhead.
Most shoppers don't have the resourses we do, to determine true values anyways.
If they like it....they'll buy it or make him an offer.

I think $300 for the light sign is about right.. I've been looking for one or something similar for a long while.
