I am brand new to this forum and I am excited to get started on my first restoration...

Everytime I plug in my machine, I blow a breaker or pop a GFI.  I unplugged the compressor at the connector plug next to hard start switch and it quit popping the breaker.  Everyting else started working, including the fan.  So my question as I am new to this, how do I fix my compressor?  I am thinking the hard start switch might be the issue, but am not sure.  Anyone have this issue before?  If so, do you know where I can get a replacement hard start for the compressor?

Also, I am having a hard time finding a manual for this model, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help!

remove the hard-start & ohm out the compressors terminals to ground/chassis, but it sounds like the compressors shot.

Yeah..220, 221 whatever it takes.

Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
