Our last wagon was a 1979 Mazda GLC Wagon after a lot of the kids were off to college and beyond. It was not the best looking car but I appreciated all of that room in the back when I was on dates in high school!
Nice care but just not the same.
I love how they marketed it alongside the RX-7. The subliminal message to the guys with families and a budget--"That is the car you want, this is the car you have to buy. Keep telling yourself it is pretty much the same thing. Yeah that will work!"
