Here is a pic of the Vendo 39 I've been looking at locally. I've been over to look at it twice. He wants $2k for it. The coin mech was just rebuilt and looks brand new. (Sorry no pics of the interior) The machine is complete and has NO rust whatsoever. I really like this machine, I don't think Id restore but display as shown. Might tinker and upgrade a few things like installing a 12 oz drum.

What do you think?

Is that a dent/paint rub on the edge of the coin box and on the bottom corner?
for 22k, it has to look a lot better. i sold a restored 39, for 1700.

There is some value in a nice orignal, but for 2k... no way.. still way overpriced... you can find a nice original for 1500 if you look ,, but if you like it that much and really want , no one can tell you what to pay... we can only advise with time and patience, you should be able to find one like it or better for less...

Good luck on your decision.

Yeah the paint has just been worn off there. I hear you guys, thanks for looking out for the newbie. I do love this machine being very original and in such good shape. But I dont want to GROSSLY overpay. I honestly dont mind going a bit higher then i should, but i dont want to get reemed either. If u guys think Im getting hit over the head here, ill hold off. Thanks for the feedback.

The drum for the 12 oz. bottle will cost you another $ 350 bucks. I would pass and go after a 81 or 56
