Not as cool as an original, but I couldn't pass up the deal, and my new project, a Wurlitzer 1015 One More time arrived this week.

I'd like to say thanks to Tim (Mznb1u)  for getting me in touch with the seller.

A little cleaning,  replace the bad bulbs and  troubleshoot the CD player and it will be good to go.

Glad you got it Jim!  If I would have had a bigger truck when I picked up the Vendo 81D, it might be sitting in my garage right now.  Of course, I would probably living in the garage too had I come home with two machine that day!  The conversation would have gone something like this:

War Department: [points at the machines in the truck] You told me you were only going to look at one machine!

Me: I bought two.  Honey, restored these are worth $5 to $6 thousand each!

War Department: Alright. Flush the bombers, get the subs in launch mode. We are at DEFCON 1.

Can't wait to see it work, Jim!

I have 2 bubbler Cd players.  Are you planning on using it for yourself or to re-sell?

Looks great Jim!  It looks just like mine, and I love it.

Forget those old school 45 and 78rpm types...With the CD type, you have current music readily available and no "snap-crackle-pop".

Congrats!

BC,
i was planning on flipping it to help pay for the other 1015 I have waiting, but everyone I talk to seems to think I'll keep it.

I guess I'll see what it turns out  before i make any decisions  Smiley

I have a Rock-Ola and a very rare (but not valuable) Seeburg Bubbler CD.  I was going to sell one as well but I will probable end up keeping them both.  Good luck with it.
