Just thought you'd might like to see a new toy I've added to the toybox.. It's a LaCrosse LCV 136-4 ( 136 cans/4 selection) Pepsi 12oz. steel can vendor, got in GrandRapids MI. it weighs in at around 250lbs.
Height - 62" Width - 27" Depth - 22-1/4"
late 60's / early 70's, in real decent shape, ( about a "7") some dents on the trim ( charactor marks ) & a little overspray here & there at the bottom near the louvers ( it came from a machine shop) but it seems to rub off with some rubbing compound. I really like the lightup sign! Nice 3-D Pepsi cap, it had the old can opener inside( stuffed in box in the pre-cool area.) & they had added a blank cover plate to fill the opening. they did a nice job at it. the wire serpentine racks were a little bit of a pain to get back in the machine once I had removed them to clean the inside of a few decade's worth of soda-gunk, but it runs cold & vends fine, that's a Coinco S75-9800 coinmech you see, & it just need some new "sold out" lamps & a new F20/T12/CW for the sign. funny thing is although it's a can vendor, they still used bottle crowns to identify the flavors of the three selection buttons, the first one is, of course, "Pepsi" it's really a plastic Pepsi medalion that also lights up ( to draw your attention to button #1, it is after all a "Pepsi" machine. it vend our new aluminum cans just fine. well just thought you'd all would like to see it...JohnieG

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Not at this point, its front panel ( cast aluminum) where you'd have lifted it up to insert the steel can into the opener & then press down on it to pierce the can, is cracked in half, so if I run across another one with an intact door then maybe, yea, a lot of people ( who've never seen such a machine) think its some sort of "can-crusher"
here's a closeup of the front panel...

Yea Jim, had to sell a few off to pay for a V110/Pepsi,to go with my V110/Coke, I also sold off the Coke/VF90, feel free to add the pictures to the soda machines gallery, and I scored a coinco coinmech bench/ tester too! it does 115 volt/9-pin &24 volt multi-price changers. nice!
Carybpa, it has a coinco 115 volt/9-pin s75-9800B coinmech it's adjustable from 5-cents up to $1.55 per/vend it plugs right in...

I was looking at that and thought you'd find that a nice addition to the toolbox!
I finally updated the Soda Machines Section to include two more manufacturers and more than forty new models with photos... Now it's on to the Syrup Dispensers Section...

Hey johnie,
Finally got back on the site and saw your LaCrosse Pepsi, did you get rid of the can opener parts ? if not I'd be interested in them to possibly complete mine......I need the punch points for mine and whatever the electrical connections pluged on to!
