Taking a family vacation to China tomorrow. I  will be off the board for 8 days.  If anyone has been to China and has any ideas, please let me know.

I doubt I will find any cool soda stuff or 50s malt shop items there.  I will take some pictures and hopefully see something old and interesting.

I agree with PopCornShop.... I went to Japan a couple of years ago, and the amount of Coca Coal stuff was PLENTY, but just about all was repo or new.
We did have a good time looking at a antique sale we ran into.  But again, all we did was look, as nothing really caught my eye (my wife on the other hand loved everything.) Different culture, different tastes, different vintage things.

Either way, have a great time, dont eat anything purple, and take some cool pics!

P.S.  If you find that guy there that made all those knock off RC plates, tell him to please stop.   tounge

Closest I got to China was Singapore. Keep cash and Passports in a zipped up front pocket. Pickpockets will get anything in behind or side pockets.
Have a great time and looking forward to the pics!

Have a safe trip, BC.  Glad to see you are keeping the economy active spending the restoration profits from the work you are doing for me.   biggrin biggrin

Look forward to getting the WD-5 you are restoring for me.

Keep an eye out for Stoner Theatres while you are out there.
