I think you got a good deal on it...especially in the great condition it's in.

I wish I would have bought it when I had the chance, but I'm glad you got it!

You've had quite a good run lately with all the machines you've bought.

That's what it takes...perseverance and deep pockets!

I sometimes wish I had kept the 56 I restored, but I got $6,000 for it.  It did look good next to it's cousin, the 81B.

Great orignal machine.. Love the 56's... I have owned 2, one nice original , but sold it for Rediculous money and one restored, that too couldn't turn down the offer, knowing I can find another someday..

Sill partial to the 81's but gotta love the 56's too.

Welcome to the club!  I really like the 56.  If it had a light in the door I think it would rival the 81.  Yours looks great.
