Need an idea of what this machine is worth

It is ultimately your choice and your decision. Our opinions are just that, but most based on personal experience.
If it's a machine you want, go for it. But by all means ask about value, parts availability. I tihnk most if not all of us here got burned  by not doing our research.

Be patient and pass on this one. I bought a couple of these machines and I couldn't give them away.

I can relate sonetimes if not patient you can end up buying a Square top for more than a starter machine that us rounded and embossed. ( V-110 in my case).
