Looks great... I've received several requests to restore a few of these, but have been leary of trying to get one apart? find parts?
would be interested in what you did for the restoration? is it just a paint job, or did you take it all apart and how did that go?
did you find a supplier for parts?
I know.. lots of questions but it looks so awesome, I'd love to be able to start working on them...

Thanks everyone, excited to get it all back together.
I found it pretty difficult to pull apart, I ended up snapping one of the breaker strips with the brute force method, before I figured out how they actually came out. I was able to fiberglass it back together, not sure I could have found the parts for that.
Mostly just a paint job, the interior was in immaculate condition, just needed a good cleaning and I Flitz'd the chrome parts. I pulled the door completely apart which was pretty straight-forward and just masked off the rest of the interior.
Parts are hard to come by, there are suppliers of the door gasket but that's about it. I'd say if you are going to do a resto, make sure you start with a very good condition original that's complete. Not sure about the other models, this one has breaker strips with bends and curves, which would be very tough to reproduce.

Finally got it back from my FIL's shop, got most of the outside chrome and emblems back on it, I'm beyond happy with how everything came out.
Just need to get the interior back together and fire it up. This one's going to be a keeper, the wife's trying to find a spot in the house for it, so I think we did a good job!
