I had a friend email me this week and his father-in-law was getting rid of his old Hotpoint fridge.  I wasn't really looking for a project, but sometimes they just fall in your lap and can't say no!  Plus, he only wanted $100 for it.  Everything works great on it, and from the photos it looks pretty clean.  I'm going to bring it down to NC for a paint job, I'm thinking of 57 Chevy Teal Blue, with a white top.

Anybody have any experience with these?  Seems pretty straightforward to me.

I'll post some photos of the resto as I go.

Well it's been a few years since I picked up this Hotpoint fridge, but finally getting to the good part, reassembly.  My father-in-law painted it, ended up going with 57 Chevy Seafoam Green and India Ivory on the top.  The colors pop in person, pretty excited to get it back in my garage and all the parts back on it.

Looks Awesome.. You could almost put one of those old Chevy V shaped car emblems on the door.
