I bought this cooler a couple years ago and I am now going to clean it up.  I was just wondeing if anyone out there can give me a rough guess as to the age of this thing... I have looked up the Pepsi logo and it appaers to be 40's.   I will try to post pics hopefull The cooler runs, it is missing the lower covers, the tank has rust holes. I was thinking about making it into a grill/cooler, but it runs, maybe it is worth too much to chop/cut/rebuild. biggrin Does anyone know what it might be worth?   Thanks

The logo is a "singer dot" wich was prodcued after 1949.  I would say early 1950s.

I hope this helps.

Would say it's a Quikold model 1400-WD2 (slider lids) early-mid 1950s...
Usually painted a dark blue with white “DRINK” and “ICE COLD” and the red & whie logo.
Is it complete?

:happydrinkers:I guess since it must not be worth anything because it doesn't say coke on it, too bad because coke stuff is like flies on turds,(lots of them, everywhere)  tounge I am not a coke drinker. Oh well it will become a grill, and cooler.  Anybody want a good compressor? make me an offer.

I wouldn't value it much more or less than a Coke cooler of the same size - too big for most people regardless of brand! Coke/Pepsi/Nehi.....$200-$300 IMO.
Hate to see it cut up though!
