I am looking at a pepsi machine on ebay, square top that seems to be from 1958-60?
it says "be sociable" on the sides and its 15 cent bottles.
It has just the letters "pepsi-cola" on the front marquee.
The seller says it is a rare [pre logo] machine? Never heard this before? although I'm new to this. Does this make a difference or is the seller embellishing the machines value?
They are asking $799.00 and its missing some racks inside, and whether it runs is questionable?

Pre light up marquee??? In my opion I would think its worth more than a couple hundred if it works.

the "be sociable" is from the 1958-1960 and the Pepsi Cola on the front marquee  is that Yellow back ground and black lettering ?  if so they only did do that for those few years.  As far as the price way too high, I could buy two for that price

Here is the link for the machine he is asking about. Yes, way too high for that machine, like double. Very plain design. The are some other square corner Pepsi Machines on e-bay now for half the price and more desirable models.
