Was driving 70 mph last weekend on the freeway on the way to Seattle and spotted a Vendo 83.  I was in the middle of nowhere so I looked for the nearest landmark in this case being a Plant Nursery.  So, I called the business today and asked the question do you know of a coke machine sitting 1/4 mile down the road?  Expwcting for the caller to think Im crazy, he said "Yes" it's mine and I have 3 others sitting back there as well.

Going up there this Sat. To see what he's got.  I told my coworker and before I called he said I must of been having an illusion.

What's a good price for a 83?

Free!

Not a desirable machine and a hard sell...big, single flavor, small bottle only....couldn't pay me to own one!
Does he have three 83's or three other Coke machines??

Not sure all I could see from the freeway was the 83.

Maybe because its such a large machine... laugh

Its probably 45 mins from the house...

Sorry But  I agree with Tom,, ,there is no good price.. I've been offered to take them for free and passed... it would have just been sitting in my shed and any time or money I put into it , would have been too much.

but not to say if you like it and it's cheap, go for it .. all in the eye of the beholder with some machines... but buy it for yourself, not thinking you can resel it and make $$

see what else he has  for sure...

Oh and Slow down!  imagine what else you missed?  biggrin

I don't know about not being worth anything.. I let my kids dismantle a machine I had, and I parted it out and made almost $100.. I also cut the embossing from the door and made a nice sign out of it...
