Ok Guys, here is what I think may be a good investment opportunity that I am looking into working a deal on.  I was hoping to get your opinion on the four machines pictured and a relative value of them and what a reasonable offer may be for all four.  I especially like the one on far left as it appears to be an old monitor top refer that was turned into a soda machine, assumingly from the Dr P factory.  What are your thoughts?  Thanks.

Ken

Seems high to me, but I have no experience with a monitor top frig value.
I think the 2 taller ones are the SelectiVend S-96 and the far right is a S-48

That's what I had come up with as well.  Do you or anyone else have any idea if they ever actually made a machine from monitor top fridges?  Obviously difficult to tell in this pic if it is original or not, but if it IS original, it would seem to be one of those "rare" finds, right?

I dont' think any brand actually every produced the Monitor Top Fridges for production, most likely someone painted it up and put on the signs, decals...
I think he is asking way too much for machines that are just not desirable.. now if the original porcelain signs are good on them, they would be worth something. unless they are decals then forget it.

Ken, I think you have your answer... Patience. Soemthing will turn up.
One word of advice. If you are looking to do a deal on something and need assistance I
would post in the soda jerks section. That way everyone isn't seeing what you have found and if you
do come across a Holly Grail they are unlikely to "pinch it " off you.

Keep hunting something will come up. Remember the hunt is the real frill of the hobby. Once you have a capture
you just move on. Enjoy it.

Yep run away FAST! The selectivend are only worth what the coin mech will  bring on ebay plus what they will pay in scrap metal. I have had 3 s48's and lost money on all of them. The last one was a sweet 7up s48 and it sold for $200. They are big and HEAVY and very square for round top machines. Also the monitor top is a dud. they also don't sell for much.

Of the 4, the monitor top is worth the most...if it runs. I've done several GE refrigerators as well, and the
lowest I've ever sold one for, was $1400. I've always done well on ice boxes.
