Red Button Door Lock

Fellas,
I really like the look of the old red push button on my door lock. But, I don't like to unscrew the screw everytime I open it. Is there a way to keep the red button AND have a key or is it a case of "pick one (key) or the other (push button)"  Any suggestions on what I can/should do?

Do you want a key type lock mechanism?

I believe the Vendo -110 lock should work on that machine.

I'd like to have a key lock WITH the Red push button. Don't know if that's possible though. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller.....?

The actual lock assembly installs in the hole where the "Red" release button is currently.
If my memory serves me and as previously stated, a V-110 lock assembly will work; however, you might consider a complete replacement as this has been altered...
Additionally, the same lock assembly can be found from a V-83 and a 6 Case Cooler as I'm not sure what model you have...

in a word, no. if you reinstall a lock mechanism, you will have to lose the red push-button, but with the lock back in placke it's easy to unlock, just turn the key & pull on the handle, and wallah, it's open
