I have a question....I am attempting to bring my pulled motor back to life with all the necessary replacement parts and paint. Which parts should I powder coat and the MAIN issue for me would be how do I get the shroud off of the coolant fins as the line are all connected. I hope I have made sense...trying to explain it at 4am was prob not the best idea haha.

It's been a while, but think the shroud should come off over the top side of the cooling lines/fins?  you have to remove the screws holding the motor bracket that run through the cooling vents, as well as where they attach to the shroud.. should come off then.
you can paint or powder the shroud, motor brackets.. but that is about it? don't think it's a good idea to put the whole unit into powder...paint the rest..

LOL I WAS JUST THINKING THE SAME THING!!!!

MY WIFE WOULD THROW THAT IN THE GARBAGE,............ THEN KILL ME!  (In that order, this way she would get the satisfaction of telling me that it's gone to the dump, and watching my expression! )

This is taking the hobby to a whole new extreme.... THE KITCHEN!!!   happydrinkers
