For those of you that have repainted machines for a while, I was wondering if you could possibly give me an idea of the cost put into paint and supplies in order to repaint an Ideal 55 embossed 7-Up machine?  It's been a very very long time since I purchased that kind of paint...assuming you use standard auto paint??  thanks.

You can expect to pay up to $500.00 for those supplies but you had better consider hiring a pro for that 7up logo as it is pretty difficult to do properly.

what makes it so difficult?  Is it because the entire logo isn't embossed and must be masked off and painted?  Just curious as it didn't seem all that difficult to do, provided I had the right example to go off of.  What sort of quantity of paint would be required for each color?  I guess I need to find the correct paint scheme for this one, huh?  Any suggestions on where to find one?
