Hi Larry,
I when with the pure white side view to give it more of a fluorescent light look. The strips is flexible and is cut to length and come with a 3M adhesive backing . It's only 8MM wide 1/3" so it fit nicely along the open of the candy display holder. I left a "service loop" for open and closing the door and candy display. My stoner has a open back base so I ran it thought a 1/8' hole and out the back to a 12 vdc switchable transformer.
You can get really fancy with these lights beside coming in warm or pure white they also come tri-color (RGB) . To control them you can also get a dimmer or a remote for some special effects and to programmed a light show including a chaser lights mode, ..... all for around under $75.
Thank you all for your kind remarks
this was my first "restore project", not counting rewiring a few pinball machines. It was allot of fun, everyone was great and helpful!
