I just found another old car I would like to buy but the wife has asked me to make a choice with some of my soda machines.  I have a Jacobs 56  in great unrestored condition.  I rewired it and everything works and it vend on a dime and gets cold.  Here is a picture.  I heard they are worth almost $4000 in working unrestored original condition.  With the economy the way it has been, is this still the case?

Wow, really cool machines!  I'd love to find one of these things.

Haha, I bet it is!  I have a machine that I want to work on, but I'm not doing a complete resto on it, just getting it up and running.  I'm almost there, just looking for a small little steel ball that goes under the verticle vending drum (VMC-149).  I like the original look when it has a nice "patina", as they put it.  About to get the V-216 up running so I can get it out of here.  Be sure to post pics when it's completed!!

I wouldn't mind owning one of these...what do you need for it?

Could you post a couple pictures of the machine plugged in and in the dark? I've always wanted to see the red, green, and Pepsi lights.
