What size bottle should a VMC 27 Pepsi use? 6.5 or 8 OZ. I'm thinking its the 8 becuase the 6.5 coke that I have seems a little to short to vend correctly. Any one have some empties for sell??
 Thanks,Johnny

You should be able to pick up the 8oz bottles at Sam's, BJ's or Costco. Around here they are about $2 a six pack.

Ahhh I didn't see the Pepsi part!  I haven't seen any 8oz Pepsi bottles. If you find some old ones you could refill and recap them. I thought about doing that for the 6.5 oz bottles

the last time i saw the small pepsi bottles was at the chicagoland show, about 2 fall shows ago.  i believe Barry the owner of retro soda (out of business) said he had gotten them from a pepsi bottler in illinois?

Yep thats what I'm trying to do. Verify 6.5 or 8 oz . Then try to find some refillable empties to refill.

I thought Pepsi was 7 oz. bottles so as to one-up Cokes' 6.5 oz. bottles.
I am not a Pepsi guy, so I could be wrong.

Pepsi was a 12oz then went to a 10oz then there are 8oz also I'd have to dig through my bottles
to be sure...but we're talking the old 40s 50s before the swirl style... which are more plentiful I
think those were 10oz check ebay there are crate fulls all the time.

So I guees they made both. Different time periods I guess?? I'va ask some of the sellers for the heights but have heard back from any one.

Eric, If you would check and post the height and diameter it would be greatly appreicated. On ebay I'v seen 6 1/2, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 16 oz listed . If you have some for sale that fits I will buy. Just looking for run of the mill not collectable ones.
 Thanks,Johnny
