Author Topic: Vendo coin changer slug rejector.  (Read 5404 times)

Hey, I may have a line on a vendo coin changer (Gives nickels for coke machine type)missing the slug rejector. Is the Slug rejector specific to only these or can one out of something else be made to work.

Any LD slug rejector will "work" for getting the coins from bezel to coin block, but you will lose the scavenger function.
The scavenger blade on a true VCC rejector had a special roller arm extension, so that every time the handle on the VCC was pulled it scavenged the rejector.
Almost impossible to find unattached to a VCC.

 Thanks,  So your saying if a coin gets hung it wouldn't return it without opening machine and manualy doing it. I  guess one would need to set it to reject all nickels also.

Tom weren't you trying to reproduce the scavenger arm. I know you had gotten a few leads on the site regarding the levels.

Tom weren't you trying to reproduce the scavenger arm. I know you had gotten a few leads on the site regarding the levels.
Still working on that...been pushed to the back burner....need to revisit that project!
There is a seller on eBay....mffe (I think)....he has a bunch of levels listed for sale, but at $13 each....ouch!!
