Stopped in a party store in Rochester, Mi. to get a soda. They had Frostie Vanilla Root Beer in a glass bottle. I never seen it in any store before.

I have seen that in a few stores in my area--I believe that Intrastate Distributors out of Detroit is bottling that under contract.  They are also the company that is bottling Towne Club again.

A few weeks ago, I was in the Brighton, MI Costco picking up stuff for my son's graduation/birthday party.  I always go back to the soda section to see if they have added anything new.  They have been carrying original formula Faygo Root Beer in glass all summer and apparently they were clearing it out.  It was $2.97 a case!!!

THAT'S RIGHT $0.12375 A BOTTLE! wow

I asked one of the employees if the price was correct and he said it was.  There were about 15 cases left and I would have bought it all.  I went to get a flatbed cart and by the time I got back it was all gone. down  I think the employee tipped off the rest of the employees and they snapped it up.

I was a little ticked off at myself for not telling the kid to wheel the pallet to the checkout line for me.  You snooze you lose I guess--and I guess I won't be drinking Faygo Root Beer all winter either. darn
