Attached is a photo of 2 different slider racks.  The rack on the left is a supposedly from an Ideal 55 Pepsi slider.  The rack on the right is supposedly from an Ideal 55 Hires Root beer rack.  Notice the underside of the rack...the Pepsi rack has a triangular formation used to hold the bottles, whereas the Hires has more of a straight bar on the underside.  Did Ideal make 2 different 55 racks, or could Glasco have made one of them?  Is one more desirable than the other? Please provide any input on this...Thanks.

I own 3 sliders:
The Ideal 35 has the straight kind.
The Glasco 50 and the Barq's Ideal 55 both have the triangular style rack.

BoB... I'd say the cheapest one is most desirable, it's just a rack & they both hold the bottles...

If I'd have to guess, I'd say the triangular-tubing unit was an early production , while the T-beam style is just as functional, only it it would be more cost effective to mass produce as it uses less material & time to make
( IE: less cost=more profit from a manufactures point of view.

I've seen both styles on both type of machines Glasco Vs Ideal in the 50/55 series anyway. I forget which is in the Ideal 35/Oso Grape I sold you.
