Well...it's a done deal. He sent me some more inside pics and we agreed on a sale price of $300. Seems like a good deal. I'm pretty excited, and I'm going to pick it up the 300 pound behemoth tomorrow morning. I guess that makes it a dollar a pound (plus chiropractic costs). He says it gets ice cold, and is 100% original. I'll post some pics this weekend once I learn how to resize photos for posting (I'll read up on the process from previous posts).
Thanks for everyone's encouragement about this machine. Always liked them, and now I'll have one! Cha-Ching!

I have had 4 of the same transitional 56's but not in Faygo and two V81 transitional and one was faygo but painted white and green. They are nice machines. I dont know the weight but I highly doubt it is 300 lbs. I can load and unload a V56 from my truck on my own if it is laying on its back and I have had a broken back and a crushed right hip ( had it replaced after the accident) so I am not the strongest person anymore and its not that hard to pick up.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Here's another transitional V56/RC Cola in Minneapolis area, but the price is a bit nuts http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/atq/2466221618.html
