Hey Board,

Just wanted to intorduce myself. Ive been trying to get on here for a few weeks now but had to wait until Jims return from Bora Bora. Anywho name's Matt from Fort Worth. Im an MBA student at TCU and I just bought a vintage coke machine (Css-141) for my vintage house (1923).

Wasn't working when I bought it and since I couldnt get on here to ask a million questions I just started tinkering. I painted it, cleaned and lubed the coin mech, rewired the logic board, CLR'd a few of the shelves and kicked around some of the compressor parts and voila. Now Ive got a working cooling machine, stcked with coke, big red, bud, coors, chili beer, root beer, birch beer and ginger beer. Not bad!

But im still missing some parts and need some knowin.

But all in all thanks fo havin me on the board!

-CHM

Welcome CoolHandMatt!

That machine should be able to provide you with many "cold drinks".  Just don't try to eat 50 hard boiled eggs!  And keep your dirt out of the Captain's yard!  One of my favorite movies.

Welcome Matt - I see you got in!
Jim - Chili beer is bottled in the SW and has a hot pepper in it (Serrano I think).
