Just got back from a service call on a late model Cornelius frozen Coke machine, & the owner found out the hard way that when you hook up the 1500 psi CO2 regulator's primary side to the 85 PSI max. syrup pumps, they tend to explode...wheeee...  wow Cherry coke syrup EVERYWHERE! .. tounge  It looked like a Freddy- Kruger film festival  ...

just a though for people that may be interested in hooking up any carbonated soda-fountains in their homes.  Please pay attention!  to the "gozinta & gozouta" markings on your CO2 pressure regulators..

Easy, He was trying to hook up the second system without the "bother" of using a second regulator, even though the 1st system & it's associated syrup pumps required a higher CO2 pressure of 85PSI & the 2nd system needed only 60PSI ( the syrup pumps in this case have an inlet pressure range of 30-85PSI max.) for some reason ( as explained to me) they didn't have a "T" fitting for the secondary outlet, so they just thought it was a good Idea to remove the tank pressure gauge & attach the 2nd system at that point...and then ...Kaa-blammo

the attached diagram shows the inlet/outlets in the horizontal plain (X) are at primary side pressure, while the outlets in the vertical plain (Y) is on the secondary ( or regulated) pressure....
