I was wondering what year my Pepsi Dixie Narco model# 168/996 is.  The pic of it is in my avitar.

Can anyone help with this.  I would also like to purchase some other products from about the same era and want to make sure they are about the same.

Even an educated rough estimate guess helps me out.

Thanks

I think it looks like the 70's colors from what I see, but I can't tell.  I know it is the smaller version of the one used in the movie big  when tom hanks has his apartment.

My guess would be the mid 1980s...

Okay, excellent thank you.  I was pretty sure that is what it is.  I just want to make sure I am in the right decade.

yep its mid 80's and even though its short they are monsters. Its a real backbreaker and I have found that they are VERY complicated. If a selection breaks good luck finding the problem and fixing it.

Great, thanks.  Yep it was a little heavy.  I put it in my jeep and carried it in my house by my self, it actually bent the axle a tiny bit on my hand cart over a bump, plus it was icy out too so that made it even harder.

I don't like the if something breaks part.  Do you mean in the circuitry?  I paid $50 and it has been working for a couple years other than the lights in front not working good (ballast?) and me messing up the coin mech :like a dope it's great.  There is like miles of wiring in there though that you mention it.
