Hey thanks Ciawarrior, it's a work in progress. Everyone tells me I have too many machine's but I don't think I have a enough. I'm dying for a Wurlitzer 1015 down there and a gas pump. Gas pump is more likely to be next, 1015 is just too pricey right now, but someday.

upi can find a complete, unrestored 1015 around 3500. Keep in mind they only play 78's , perosnally, I love big band and old blues.

I love classic rock, can you find alot of classic rock on 78's? I know nothing about vinyl but would be something I'd like to get into.

I don't think you'll find much classic rock on 78. 78rpm started to die out from the mid fifties onwards.
What you do get is some stonking R & B... A Wurly 1100 is very high on the wants list.

back in the late 80's when the one more time 1015 first came out my father was a dealer for them. They are very well built for reproductions and are nice boxes. I agree that I love the look of the original 1015 but since it only plays 78's just makes it not very practical. I would get a seeburd c, g or R instead or even a Rockola from the late 50's. They are great boxes. If you on a budget you can get an AMI F cheap and although they are somewhat ugly its still a 50's just and you cant beet the sound from an AMI.

I'd second that as well, yes I'd love a 1015, but it's too old to go with my era of stuff.. my 50's era Seeburg G fits in nicely with the chrome and colors of the 50's.. when I do get my 1015 or 1100 Wurly, it will most likely go upstairs with the other Antiques. (yes my wife already said so)!!! wooo hooo!

Yes I've seen the one more time jukeboxes but theres nothing like having an original. But in the 1950's Wurlitzer created 45 conversion kits for the 1015. Now if I could find one that was converted with one of those kits thatd be sweet. But I'm sure those go for alot more $. I honestly look at the 1015 as piece of art, and in my opinion its the Mona Lisa of jukeboxes. And Dave that is an amazing collection you got there!
