I just posted this on the GlassBottleSoda.Org Facebook page and thought that some you you may want to watch it too. A Green Bay, WI TV station went over to Shawano, WI to visit the Sun-Drop bottling plant, which bottles SD in returnable glass and is made with sugar. The best Sun-Drop ever! Video

Very cool.  There's a few cane sugar bottlers that do Sun Drop.  Ones in Tennessee about 50 miles from my folks.  I'll have to take a cruise next time I'm there.  More caffene than Mt. Dew.  I didn't know that.

Neat video.  It is amazing how much stuff is out there like that.  I never would have thought that so much is done by hand.

Thanks I haven't been there for some time now - same people working there.

Not sure if they are the last bottler of Sun Drop in returnable bottlers. I recently spoke with a gentleman from Sun Drop out Gastonia, North Carolina who told me they still ran returnables too. Hopefully this summer I can make the 2 hour trip to see for sure.

Let me know how that turns out. Sun-Drop is go popular that they also go through a small semi trailer of non-returnable glass bottles from West Jefferson DP every month during the summer!
