Have the machine cooling now, but the bottles will not release, I am not sure if the coin mechanism is working or not. When you plug the machine in, the coin mech clicks. That is the only sound it makes. I have it set to 10 cents and the bottles will not release. We took the entire bottle rack out and cleaned it up and oiled the springs, etc. And it will manually work/release when you push the relay in that is located at the bottom of the rack. Also, the switch at the bottom of the coin mechanism does not do anything when you push it one way or the other. Thanks in advance for the help.

Sounds like a question for JohnieG.  He is the expert on that type of coin mech.

You will be happy with that machine once you get everything operating properly.  Great everyday user machine!

First, test the machines vending circuit by momentarily jumpering pins #1 & #3 with an insulated jumper wire, you should here the vending solenoid "click" & release the stack to vend. if not, there's a problem in the wiring, if it does allow a vend to be made, then the troubles in the coinmech.

Johnie g, I am a complete newbie to this, with this being my first machine, so I apologize for asking an elementary question but can you point me in the right direction of the pins 1 and 3 on the machine?

Johnieg, used the jumper and it released the stack. Can you take a look at my coin mechanism? Let me know if you have time and what the next step would be. Thanks Jim for the diagram.
