Coin mech

Can someone help I just bought a coke machine from vendo it has wood grain in the front I think its from the 70's. I am trying to get it working, when I put coins in it spits it back  out I tried moving the inventory latch on and off and it still doesn't work.

What type of coin changer are you using?  What model of coke machine did it come out of?  Does it take change at all or does it just drop everything into the coin return?  Is the machine plugged in?  Give us as much info as you can!
