I always think the same thing. Every year my mom asks for a list. I send her ideas (links to soda thermometers, links to small signs). It doesn't pan out though.

What does your mom like? Is she outdoorsy? Does she like to cook? Does she like to read...?

Jack, very nice mom you got there. I was amazed you actually got her up that early for the Fri. morning bargins at the Chicagoland show. Did you ever buy that sign you were looking at? Well, mom's are tuff but what works for me are usually gift cards! I know, I know.... not the bet thing but along with that, I usually get her a couple of small things like special hand lotion that she like, CD's or movie rental coupons. Also, think about places she likes to eat at for dinner. My mom loves Applebees and a hometown pizza place.
