Sure would be a pity to spend money on a painted machine only to have to strip it down because of rust. And I believe if that machine wasn't taken completely apart and media blasted you will have waist line rust. The 56 model seems especially prone to it.

Glass door 56's always bring better monies. Cheesy pinstripping seems to sadly add value as well. May be why this $1100 (good day) dollar machine pulled down $1600.
If looking to buy find a solid door and convert to glass.
