How much would you pay for a unrestored RC81 that is missing about $500-$800 worth of parts?  Needs some body work as there is rust and some dents.  Guy I know wants $7K and wants me to pay for shipping.  wow

Where are these machines comming from lately? Is this the one? It's local and I can inspect it for you, maybe help with shipping.

I would buy it for for 7000. Let me know if you pass on the deal. I would be interested in it but only if you decide not to buy it.
Thanks, Jeff

If recent RC81 sales are any indication, $7000 plus shipping would be a bargain.
I see a stack, coin mech, coin door and bezel - what could be missing that is worth $500-$800? Would be odd, but refrigeration unit and shelves?

I'm not in the position to buy one, but that is a fair deal , if you look at recent sales..

He was made a fair offer and wants to think it over. Sounds like he's fishing. With the cost of restoration, it may not be that great of a deal at $7K. Didn't a fully restored one fail to get more than $10K not too long ago on eBay?

The RC81 that recently sold at auction for $11K was a very nice original.

There were three RC81 at the Rich Penn auction just a few weeks ago - 11k, 13.5k & 19k
