Hi!

I purchased a 7UP Machine in the fall and have not been able to find any info on it.  I would like to know the manufacturer, year, paint codes, electrical, etc.  The compressor, 7UP light up sign, coin mech (10 cents) all are working but the wiring needs to changed.  The decals are not in the best of shape so I will need to purchase new ones. The info on the plate is as follows:  Model SS-64, Serial # 4076, Selvend Company, Kansas City, Mo.  I have no idea who Selvend is??  The decal on the side is round with 7UP Likes You.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

If you can post a picture, maybe that'll ring someones bell  ':<img:'> , I've seen other SelVends, just haven't seen any info around on them.... get a couple of nice 3/4 front picture shots & interior pictures & any info as to were you got it & where they got it, (ie: history of machine) & maybe we can start a new machine catagory in the "soda machines" section!

I know this is a mega old thread but I just bought this same machine.......only it's serial # 4688.  Maybe we could share knowledge as there doesn't seem to be alot out there?

I just put in a new door seal and this thing cooled down to 26 degrees before I stopped tracking it.  Obviously I need to replace the thermostat (not shutting off) which I have, just haven't got installed.

Here are a couple photos.  I've never seen a 7 up sign like this one............
