Ya the machine is designed for 10 cents and I am not sure why it isnt functioning still. Since the only problem I see with it is the fact that the one wire does not automatically go back up, is the problem a spring maybe? Im not sure what to really look for at this point

If the wire isn't binding, it sounds like the spring inside the switch has gone bad...

Let me look at mine. Some switches are held down by a magnet until a separate lever resets it.

If your switch is positively not binding anywhere, I would say you need a new switch. There is not a magnet on this model mech - just a switch. The switch on mine resets itself as soon as a nickel or dime pass.
It is very easy to get to the switch and I am 99% sure you can get a brand new one from Mouser Electronics. Just transfer the existing switch wire to the new switch unless you want to bend the new switch wire. Remove the whole mech from the machine by unplugging it and loosening the 3 screws (located behind the rejector), then lift it off. Follow the pics below: First unscrew the small screw at the bottom of the coin return chute, then push it up slightly and remove it. Second, remove the 2 screws on the side that secure the right side of the assembly. Third, remove the screw that secures the left side of the assembly to the body. Finally, lift out the assembly.

I dont know exactly what kind of switch to look for. Is there a part number or even a url to a page that has the one I might need. While we are on this topic too where is the spring that brings the wire back to the normal position, it is not behind the wire like I thought it would be, is it a part of the switch and why I need a new one?

It is part of the switch - I'll see if I can find the URL for you.

Well I fixed the problem and I feel like an idiot. The trip wire or whatever the name of it is, was rubbing against the frame and not getting returned upwards, I bent it slightly and it works fine. Thanks for all the help and sorry for my incompetence.
