Took the kids to their first concert last night and saw Green Day... I'm not a huge fan, but the kids love them.. We saw them at an outdoor arena and had lawn seats.. They played for over 2 hrs and it was probably one of the better concerts I've been to.

I've never seen them live, but remember the Woodstock 1994 show on PPV TV was really good! They started a mudball war and the crowd was tossing chunks of muddy turf at the band...roadies and security guys up front were holding tarps up for protection....and the band played on through it all.

They were calling people up from the audience onto stage... It was wild.. I haven't been to a rock concert in many years... There have been a few that I wanted to take the kids to but didn't want to introduce them to that scene yet.. this was a great crowd, great band, great experience..

Your kids will have a blast.. it was my kids first concert and it was a great experience all around.. I've toyed with taking them to a few others previously, but didn't because I was worried about the audience.. this was even a great audience..

I took my Daughter to see ZZ Top when she was 15v yr old and it was at The KNOB (as kilroy would say)for her first concert,  She is know living In Chicago
and she found out I going to see Roger Waters perform the Wall  (way cool big Floyd fan and Waters fan)  so now she is
trying to get tickets there  so she can go see it .

She said she would like to see the Rolling Stones , I really dont think Kieth & Mick can get out of there wheel chairs anymore  laugh.
Well at least she like the classic Rock that is a plus .

Well back to the V56 restoration.
